There are tons of air compressors out there for all different sorts of applications. Also, there are too many brands for you to choose from, and all that might get you confused. Not only that, but there are also different working mechanisms on these air compressors that you will have to choose from.

Senco is one such brand that is manufacturing all different sorts of air compressors ranging from small to medium-sized and you can choose among them depending on what your needs might be.

Senco Air Compressor Problems

Senco Air Compressors are renowned for the vast range of applications, as you will be able to get all sizes and power on these air compressors. Not only that, but they are also pretty durable so that you won’t have to face many major problems on these. Moving forward, the availability of spare parts is not much hassle on these air compressors either. A few common problems that you might have to face with these Senco Air Compressors and their solutions are:

1) Storage Capacity

There is no such issue with the storage capacity if you are using the air compressor with just 1 storage tank and 1-gallon capacity. However, you might have to face problems with bigger air compressors that have more than 1 tank connected to them. The issues are caused by the vacuum between these tanks, some leakages, and more and you will have to be careful about these. If you feel like both your tanks are not filling as they should. Or, the tanks might not be filling, but the motor is running, which is quite a serious concern.

To fix that problem, you should check on the lines connecting these tanks with each other first. That is going to help you in figuring out if there is some sort of leak on the lines that can cause leaking the air out of the tanks. If there is some leakage on the hoses, tanks where they are connected, or the pipes, it would be better to replace the part so you don’t have to deal with such issues anymore.

Another thing that might cause you to face this issue is the vacuum in these tanks. The vacuum can create a serious mess and you will have to drain it out. To do that, turn off the air compressor and use the drainage valve at the bottom of these tanks to empty these tanks. Once you have made sure that these tanks have drained completely, you can close the drain valve and then restart the air compressor. This is going to help you solve the problem perfectly.

2) Belts Noise

This goes without saying that belts noise and squeaking sounds are the annoyance that one might never want to have. While Senco Air Compressors have a pretty noiseless operation, these sounds coming out of the belts of your air compressors can get unbearable at times.

You will have to make sure that you are lubricating the belts with the right materials and that will help you avoid building these sounds in the first place. However, if the sound is not going away even after lubrication, there are high chances that the belts have gone bad. You will have to replace the belts regularly to fix this kind of problem. Not only that, but they can also break down due to excessive friction, so it is better to replace the belts before that.

3) Overheating

Another common issue that you might have to face on your Senco Air Compressors is that they might overheat sometimes. This can cause some serious damage to your air compressor motor and you obviously don’t want to have that.

In order to fix this issue, you will have to keep topping up the oil regularly and that is going to help you out in maintaining the temperature perfectly. The right oil and regular top-up will make it work for you and you don’t have to worry much about it.

However, if the problem is still not going away, you will have to get the motor and gasket checked with a technician who will be able to make it work out perfectly for you and fix the issue for good.
